ASBIS Informs Customers of Unprecedented Warranty Extension by SEAGATE
ASBIS, a leading supplier of computer components to the EMEA region’s emerging markets, is glad to inform its customers of the unprecedented decision by one of its largest vendors Seagate to extend the warranty period for its products to 5 years.
According to Merlene Fernandez, Global Channel Sales Programs at Seagate, “5-year warranty covers internal drives shipped through Distribution and Retail channels throughout the world, including drives for PCs, notebook computers, entry-level servers, and enterprise applications”.
This best-in-class warranty is effective immediately and is retroactive to Seagate drives shipped from ASBIS since July 1, 2004.
