– datasheet. A capacity mix for Seagate SkyHawk and SkyHawk AI portfolios has been changed to offer SkyHawk products in the 1-8TB range and SkyHawk AI products in the 8-14TB range. This is due largely to the fact that beyond 8TB the workload requirements are evolving, increasing random performance mixed with sequential write streams. SkyHawk AI is purpose-built for such workloads. The recommended replacement configurations are SkyHawk AI shipping configurations: Optimized for DVRs and NVRs, SkyHawk and SkyHawk AI surveillance drives are tuned for 24×7 workloads in capacities up to 14TB. Equipped with enhanced ImagePerfect firmware and SkyHawk Health Management drive monitoring software, SkyHawk hard drives help to minimize dropped frames and downtime with a workload rating up to 9× that of a desktop drive—up to 550TB/year. SkyHawk AI drives simultaneously support up to 64 HD cameras and 32 AI streams.
