Prestigio launches new price aggressive Tablet PC models: MultiPad 7.0 Prime and MultiPad 7.0 Pro

Prestigio MultiPad family

Prestigio adds two new models to its MultiPad family, Prestigio MultiPad 7.0 Pro and MultiPad 7.0 Prime.

Prestigio, a dynamic international vendor of state-of-the-art IT and CE products for style-conscious consumers that is among the top 5 Tablet PC brands and #1 in mobile navigation market in the countries of CEE, adds two new models to its MultiPad family, Prestigio MultiPad 7.0 Pro and MultiPad 7.0 Prime.

Both devices sport the popular Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and feature a 7” (800×480 pixels) capacitive touch screen. Similar to other Prestigio MultiPads, the new models offer a great out-of-the-box experience, as both come packed with many useful preinstalled applications. Just to name a few: Google Mail, a Media Player, various Games, Skype, Facebook, Twitter, Office Suite Professional and the new Prestigio eReader with direct access to the eBook store offering more than 260,000 titles in 22 languages. All in all, the apps have a value of US $10.

Most technical specifications are common to both tablets and include 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage, micro SD card slot bringing up to 32GB extra for photos, music, books or videos.

Both MultiPads also feature a 0.3MP front-facing camera, USB2.0 high speed port, 4 way G-sensor and a fast 802.11b|g|n WIFI.

Prestigio MultiPad 7.0 Pro and MultiPad 7.0 Prime

The differences between two models are mainly the design, Prestigio MultiPad 7.0 Pro being slightly thinner and smaller than MultiPad 7.0 Prime, the battery life and the CPU type. MultiPad 7.0 Pro is powered with a Cortex-A5 1.0GHz and features 3000 mAh battery, while the 7.0 Prime has the Cortex-A8 1GHz CPU and 2500 mAh battery. 

Both models will be available to end users at a RRP of under 100 EUR, as off the beginning of September.
