Alienware Introduces New AW2524HF IPS Gaming Monitor

Dell Technologies has pulled back the curtains on its latest Alienware gaming display, the AW2524HF, featuring cutting-edge technology such as AMD Freesync Premium and an impressive refresh rate of up to 500Hz.

Dubbed as “The World’s Fastest IPS Gaming Display,” the AW2524HF boasts a 24.5″ IPS panel with a maximum resolution of 1920×1080 (FHD), positioning it squarely within the realm of popular eSports. The monitor employs a Fast IPS panel with an Antiglader coating (3H hardness), and it comes brimming with an array of advanced features:

Unmatched Speed: The monitor’s remarkable 500Hz refresh rate (480Hz native) on its Fast IPS panel ensures an unparalleled level of speed and motion clarity. Thanks to the inclusion of AMD FreeSync Premium and VESA AdaptiveSync certification, gamers can relish tear- and stutter-free gaming even during high-speed action sequences. Additionally, the ultra-low latency gray-to-gray response time of 0.5ms effectively eradicates motion blur and ghosting, resulting in seamless visuals.

Consistent Color Excellence: Unlike competing TN panels, the Fast IPS panel guarantees consistent visuals from every angle. With an impressive sRGB color coverage of 99%, it also supports HDR content through HDR10. Notably, the TUV-certified ComfortView Plus employs a hardware-based approach to mitigate harmful low blue light emissions without compromising the authenticity of colors, thereby promoting extended and comfortable gaming sessions.

Revamped Design: The monitor’s integrated retractable headset hanger keeps desk spaces organized, while the hexagonal base, occupying minimal room, can be height-adjusted with convenient markers, catering to personalized gaming experiences.

The standout feature of the Dell Alienware AW2525HF Gaming Monitor undoubtedly lies in its exceptional 500Hz refresh rate (overclocked with DP) and 480Hz (Native with DP) capability. Coupled with a brightness of 400 cd/m² and a rapid 0.5ms gray-to-gray response time, the monitor also supports baseline HDR 10 technology. From a technical standpoint, the display harnesses the prowess of AMD Freesync Premium technology and boasts a pixel density of 90 PPI.

In terms of connectivity, users can enjoy 2 DP 1.4 ports, 1 HDMI 2.1 port, and 5 USB 3.2 Gen1 ports at the rear of the monitor. With a wide viewing angle of 178 degrees both vertically and horizontally, the monitor supports Tilt, Swivel, Pivot, and even incorporates Built-in cable management. Dell Alienware is set to globally launch the product on September 12th.
