ASBIS at CloudFest 2026: From Cloud Growth to Cloud Resilience
The ASBIS team has just returned from an inspiring week at CloudFest 2026 — one of the leading events for cloud, AI, and data center infrastructure. With over 10,000 attendees and 250+ speakers, this year’s theme, “The Sustainability of Everything,” clearly reflected how the industry is evolving from rapid expansion to resilient, efficient growth.
As both an exhibitor and Platinum Partner, ASBIS participated in multiple discussions around building more reliable and scalable cloud environments. Together with Intel, we also showcased solutions designed for modern data centers, focusing on performance, efficiency, and long-term sustainability. Our booth became a meeting point for partners and customers to exchange ideas on navigating an increasingly complex cloud landscape.
Key takeaways from CloudFest 2026:
Cyber resilience is becoming critical
Security discussions moved beyond traditional protection. The focus is shifting toward resilience against increasingly sophisticated and AI-driven threats, highlighting the need for stronger infrastructure foundations.
Sovereign AI is moving from concept to reality
The conversation around AI is no longer about hype, it is about infrastructure. Organizations are actively looking for sovereign AI environments where data residency, compliance, and control are guaranteed.
NIS2 as a competitive advantage
Compliance with the NIS2 directive is no longer just a regulatory requirement. It is becoming a key factor in vendor selection, with customers prioritizing transparency and risk management capabilities.
Sustainability equals efficiency
From liquid cooling to heat reuse, sustainability discussions focused on operational efficiency. Energy-aware data center design is now viewed as a core business driver rather than a marketing topic.
“CloudFest 2026 highlighted the shift toward resilient and efficient cloud infrastructure. We saw strong demand for partners that can support long-term scalability and compliance. These insights will help shape our future roadmap,” said Yuri Slukhai, ASBIS.
We would like to thank everyone who visited our booth, joined discussions, and shared their perspectives. The conversations in Rust will help guide our strategy in the year ahead.
See you at CloudFest 2027.
