NORTON, A CYBER SECURITY GIANT, IN THE ASBIS PORTFOLIO

ASBISc Enterprises Plc, a leading Value Add Distributor, developer, and provider of ICT, IoT products, solutions, and services to the markets of Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), expanded cooperation with the global company Gen and became an authorized distributor of Norton solutions, one of the world’s largest producers of antivirus and security software for PCs, Macs and mobile devices. The agreement covers eight countries: Bosnia, Croatia, Cyprus, Greece, Malta, Romania, Serbia and Slovenia.

Norton’s solutions significantly strengthen the ASBIS offer in the field of comprehensive antivirus solutions. Business solutions related to ensuring cybersecurity from Avast have just been joined by the entire range of Norton products in the B2C segment, including box versions and electronic keys.

Norton 360 is an anti-virus or anti-malware software product founded by Peter Norton. It was developed and distributed by Symantec (now Gen) in 1990 as part of its Norton family of computer security products. It uses signatures and heuristics to identify viruses. Other features included in it are e-mail spam filtering and phishing protection.
