ASBIS closes the amendment agreement with BlackBerry for its Software Licenses and Updates
July 10, 2014, Limassol (Cyprus) – ASBISC Enterprises PLC (WSE: ASB), an expert in the distribution of Information and Communications Technology products and solutions in EMEA emerging markets, and BlackBerry Limited (NASDAQ: BBRY; TSX: BB), a global leader in mobile communications, adopted an amendment to the master supply agreement which was agreed by two companies on April 9, 2014.
The new annex added BlackBerry’s Software Licenses and Updates to the ASBIS portfolio with right to supply partners in Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, Moldova, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Tajikistan, and Ukraine.
Concluded earlier this year the master supply agreement with BlackBerry has made ASBIS the preferred distribution partner for business on the BlackBerry’s handhelds and software, whereas the current amendment opens up the way to provide ASBIS customers with not only BlackBerry’s smartphones but the Complete Enterprise Mobility Solutions.
