This supercomputer leverages servers built on the NVIDIA<\/a> HGX platform, featuring a versatile Supermicro 4U liquid cooling system designed to support hot-swapping of individual GPU components. Each rack accommodates eight servers, with an additional Supermicro 4U unit at the base of each rack, which includes a redundant pumping system and monitoring capabilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Colossus is notable for being the world’s largest AI supercomputer and is owned by xAI, a company founded by Elon Musk.
