Promise Technology Inc. announced general availability of the entry-level TX line of SuperTrak<\/a> hardware RAID products which have been designed for entry-level servers and SAS tape connectivity. These new controllers are built on the same hardware architecture as the high performance SuperTrak<\/a> EX products that are currently shipping. Promise's complete portfolio of end-to-end SAS RAID solutions span from the desktop to the datacenter and include the SuperTrak<\/a> TX, SuperTrak<\/a> EX, and enterprise class VTrak subsystems. The SuperTrak<\/a> TX series is targeted for entry level server applications that require RAID 0,1,10 and SAS tape connectivity.
