2025 was marked by inflation, pricing pressures, and limited availability of certain IT product categories. How did ASBIS Romania navigate this environment?\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Last year was indeed a challenging one. We had to simultaneously manage rising costs from most suppliers, supply chain volatility, and changing customer purchasing behavior. Despite these difficulties, ASBIS Romania closed 2025 profitably, achieving revenue of RON 313.6 million, an 11% increase year-over-year. This confirms the resilience of our business model, the advantages of a regional-level distribution network, and, above all, our team’s ability to capitalize on opportunities in the local market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n What were the main factors behind this performance?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The most important change we observed in 2025 was the growing share of high-value-added segments. The market is no longer driven solely by volume; it is increasingly shaped by complex projects, enterprise solutions, and IT infrastructure, where technical expertise and consulting services are just as important as the product itself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Companies are investing cautiously and require clear profitability arguments before approving budgets. The lack of funds is not necessarily the issue; rather, there is a lack of confidence that technology investments can quickly improve competitiveness and profitability. Our role is to design the right solutions to achieve these objectives and, in doing so, strengthen our customers’ trust in the expertise of our consultants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n At the same time, artificial intelligence is beginning to influence the entire IT ecosystem. We are seeing growing demand for servers, storage solutions, data center infrastructure, as well as PCs and smart devices optimized for AI. This transformation favors premium, high-performance products and integrated solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n How has this trend been reflected in ASBIS’s portfolio?\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The Dell Technologies portfolio has played a significant role as one of the company’s strategic pillars. We have observed a substantial increase in interest in Dell enterprise infrastructure, ranging from servers and storage systems to integrated data center and virtualization solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n At the same time, the Dell Client Solutions segment continues to perform very well as companies accelerate equipment refresh cycles and adopt the new generation of AI-ready PCs. Customers are increasingly looking for performance, security, and energy efficiency, and Dell addresses these requirements very effectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n For us, Dell is not simply an important supplier it is a strategic partner with whom we develop complex projects and support the digital transformation of organizations throughout Romania.<\/p>\n\n\n\n How has the organization adapted to these developments?\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n We continuously invest in developing our team’s capabilities and strengthening our technical expertise. In 2025, ASBIS Romania employed an average of 64 people. Our objective is not necessarily numerical growth, but rather building a team capable of delivering value in a market that is becoming increasingly sophisticated and demanding in the best sense of the word.<\/p>\n\n\n\n IT distribution is evolving rapidly. Today, it is no longer enough to simply deliver products; distributors must also provide consulting, services, and support for complex projects, accompanying customers throughout the entire journey, including implementation and maintenance. This is the model we believe in and continue to develop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n How do you see the market evolving in the coming period?\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n We expect the trends seen in 2025 to strengthen further. Artificial intelligence will continue to accelerate infrastructure investments, while organizations will increasingly seek complete, scalable, and efficient solutions.
