ASBIS Group (WSE: ASB) – a leading Value Add Distributor, developer, and provider of ICT, IoT products, solutions, and services to the markets of Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA),<\/strong> <\/strong>has launched two new local distribution centers \u2013 one in Accra (Ghana) and the second in Abidjan (C\u00f4te d’Ivoire) \u2013 strengthening its operational presence in West Africa.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

These are ASBIS’s first warehouses in this rapidly developing African region. The facilities, each approximately 400 m\u00b2 with potential expansion to several thousand m\u00b2, will primarily serve the local markets of Ghana and C\u00f4te d’Ivoire. The warehouses are equipped with ASBIS’s proprietary Warehouse Management System (WMS) \u2013 an innovative warehouse management solution that optimizes operations, reduces errors and cuts costs.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

ASBIS currently operates four main logistics hubs (Czech Republic, UAE, South Africa, Georgia), with total global warehouse space, including local facilities, at approximately 71,000 m\u00b2. The new investments align with the company’s operational expansion in emerging markets.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ghana and C\u00f4te d’Ivoire are two of West Africa’s fastest-growing markets, with GDP growth of 6.5% and 7.2% respectively in 2025. Both countries are experiencing rapid digital infrastructure development \u2013 Ghana with 70% internet penetration, and C\u00f4te d’Ivoire with ambitious 5G and data center investments. The WECA region (West and Central Africa) attracts global investors through fintech, e-commerce and mobile money booms, driving demand for advanced ICT solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
