Prestigio, an international manufacturer of mobile devices, consumer electronics and accessories, is pleased to announce that they have become a general partner of the Eastern European Drift Championship. This season the name of the championship will be Prestigio EEDC 2014 and is scheduled to start in May.
“Following our company vision to create and support the Art of Hi-Tech, we are really happy to cooperate with EEDC. Drift racers are real masters of speed and technology. Using their skills and knowledge they arrange amazing shows full of passion and energy. By navigating with our devices the road is not as risky but it is still pretty fast and enjoyable. So we have much in common and anticipate a really breath-taking experience with EEDC in 2014”, – said Yuri Antoshkin, General Manager, Prestigio EMEA.
This season EEDC plans to use a special technical enhancement that will add some viewing value to the show. Speed cameras will be set to determine driver speed during the course, not only the initiation.
The Prestigio EEDC 2014 organisers claim that this season is going to be a break-through in its history: “EEDC has been growing quickly, so we are proud to be the most skilled and open drift league. Prestigio, our general partner in 2014, is a well-known manufacturer of gadgets and consumer electronics. This gives our series additional possibilities for growth and confirms that we are heading in the right direction.
Our aim for this year is to increase media coverage by organising high-quality live streams of all events, working with social media, further enhancement of drift skills of our participants and enjoy close high-speed tandems!” – – stated Evgeny Nikitin, EEDC Co-Founder.
Also EEDC-2014 will show a comeback of a world-famous BRNO race-track in Czech and feature the best drifters like Gvido Elksnis, Kristaps Bluss, Alex Golovnya and Pawel Trela. These participants will guarantee a high level of drift, that’s why the audience is always happy to see them in action.
