Intel and HP launch the next generation of AI PCs for business

Intel and HP Co-Engineer the Next Generation of AI PCs Powered by Intel® Core™ Ultra

New HP EliteBook devices, developed in collaboration with Intel, showcase AI-enhanced performance optimized across CPU, GPU and NPU – delivering faster, smarter and more secure user experiences.

Intel and HP have partnered to deliver a new wave of AI PCs for business – led by the HP EliteBook X, EliteBook Ultra and EliteBook 8 – powered by Intel® Core™ Ultra processors. These devices represent the next generation of computing, offering AI-accelerated performance across productivity, content creation and security workloads.

Why It Matters

AI PCs are transforming the modern workplace. Through close co-engineering, Intel and HP have optimized both hardware and software to ensure seamless performance for AI workloads – from CPU to GPU to the integrated neural processing unit (NPU). The result is an enhanced user experience built on real-world business needs.

Intel contributed more than silicon to this collaboration. Intel’s Client Software and Platform Engineering teams worked hands-on with HP to validate and fine-tune AI performance across multiple workloads and devices. As a result, HP’s AI PCs offer optimized performance for a carefully selected suite of AI-enhanced applications – tested to run locally, securely and efficiently on Intel architecture.

Industry Momentum

Analysts have praised HP’s shift to AI-first computing.

“HP is the only company that’s actually succeeded in making me excited about AI PCs,” wrote WindowsCentral. Forbes noted that HP’s Copilot+ PCs, including EliteBook Ultra and HP OmniBook X, mark “a clear step toward AI-first computing.”

What’s Next

Intel® Core™ Ultra processors are at the heart of these AI PCs, enabling breakthrough performance across the CPU, GPU and NPU. From faster task completion to secure, local AI processing, these systems are built for the future of work.

This collaboration with Intel has been essential to delivering real, measurable value through our next-gen AI PCs,” said Cory McElroy, vice president of Commercial Product Management at HP. “We worked as one team – and the result is a product experience our customers can see and feel.”
