"IBM DISCovery" Terms and Conditions. On purchasing of the aforementioned mix of IBM Microdrive HD

By taking part in the "IBM® DISCovery", you hereby agree with the rules and conditions of this international marketing program. ASBIS reserves the right to change the rules and conditions of the program at any moment, and also to discontinue the program at any moment without prior notice.

The international program "IBM DISCovery" will be taking place in Belarus, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech, Estonia, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Russia, Slovakia Slovenia, Ukraine, and Yugoslavia from 15.02.2002 until 30.04.2002.

The employees of legal entities, performing in pointed countries, may participate in the program.
They need to buy ASBIS hard disk drives of Ultrastar 36Z15, 73LZX of 36.7 and/or 73.4 Gb or Deskstar 120GXP of 80 and/or 120 Gb capacities for the duration of the program.

Every purchased drive of any capacity grants the points to the participant.

At the end of the program the points of every participant are summarized.

Those who get more than 1000 points during the program have a right to participate in the lottery. The lottery will take place one time for all countries participating.

All participants will be advised officially about the date and time of the lottery drawing.

There will be 3 main prizes drawn for during the lottery
a). Trip to Canada for 1 person
b). Trip to Brazil for 1 person
c). Trip to Kenia for 1 person

During the lottery there will be also awarded a 21" TV-set and CD-players.

Irrespective of final results all participants who get more than 1000 points will be presented with a gift - T-shirt from IBM.

To confirm the your capability to participant in the drawing you will need to contact the marketing-coordinator of the ASBIS office. The Marketing-coordinator will provide you with the further instructions.
Acceptance of a prize constitutes permission (except where prohibited) to use the winner`s name, likeness and statements for advertising and publicity purposes without further compensation.

The sum of the main prize(s) will be payed by ASBIS to the travel agency which will arrange the trip to the respective countries. After that point all the responsibilities for proper travelling conditions rely upon the travel agency.

Prizes can`t be passed to a third-party and a money compensation will not be provided. ASBIS reserves the right to change the any prize for one in a similar catergory  or one of representing a larger prize in case it is determined at teh end of the contest that the orginal prize is unavailable.

All federal, state and local taxes on the prize are the sole responsibility of the winners.
