The tech powerhouse duet: Intel and ASBIS took the stage at CloudFest 2026
In a landmark collaboration at CloudFest 2026, the world’s leading cloud computing festival, industry giants Intel and ASBIS delivered a joint speaking session. The presentation, held during the second day of the CloudFest, before a capacity crowd, unveiled how the new Intel® Xeon® 6 processor family is unlocking unprecedented versatility for the modern data center.
Led by Georgios Kardaras (Intel) and Yuri Slukhai (ASBIS), the session addressed the “AI Everywhere” mandate. They demonstrated how the modular architecture of the Xeon® 6, featuring both P-cores for compute-intensive AI workloads and E-cores for high-density efficiency, allows providers to optimize for performance and TCO simultaneously.
Technical innovations highlighted:
- Next-gen performance: The 6900 Series, supporting up to 288 E-cores or 128 P-cores, is designed for massive scale-out and AI inference.
- Modular flexibility: A deep dive into the Multi-die Architecture that enables low-latency, high-bandwidth communication across the compute fabric.
- Operational excellence: How ASBIS’s deep supply chain expertise and 35 years of industry experience allow to deliver these L10-L12 integrations to 60+ countries.
“With 25 years of collaboration behind us, ASBIS and Intel are uniquely positioned to turn silicon innovation into infrastructure reality,” noted Yuri Slukhai, Server Business Development Manager at ASBIS.
